At home in the Gateway Arts District . . .

“PLAY”. . .”WORK”. . .”LIVE” proclaims the banner of the website.  It was for personal family reasons, rather than the attraction of an arts community, that I moved to Hyattsville, MD.  People who return to the area, such as those who formerly had contacts with the University of Maryland, cannot believe the transformation that has come to the area. So now that I am here anyhow, it is one more plus to be able to take advantage of all the community has to offer for anyone in the arts, including the literary arts . . . as my neighbors have a broad perspective regarding what constitutes “the arts.”

Taking place in this neighborhood will be a discussion of my novel Well Considered at the Busboys and Poets Book Club @ Hyattsville on March 29:

This is an open group and all are welcome. And, for now, I continue to play, work, and live in the brand-new Hyattsville.
